pretty sure that is the date of manufacture.

Maybe golf or slate iridium??

Based on the fact it is vented and has a Zero nose piece attached to it I'm going to venture it is either a G30 or Slate. Sometimes the blueish tint on a G30 is hard to pick up in pictures. The numbers at the top of the lens are the date code or date of production.

It has some blueish ink on it and I thought it was slate iridium but I am not sure now as I see G30 pictures. The seller gave me as well an orange lenses with the pack (sweep).

Anyone know if Dark Grey was made for the M Frames? I have both of these and they look totally different

Slate maybe?

That was my first thought.

It’s weird because both have slim to no mirror on them.

Just re reading this thread, would be really interesting to see how peoples mumbo/m-frame collections have evolved since.

One thing not mentioned was the strip lenses, that in recent years has been 'the' hunt for piece for a lot of vintage collectors.

Still amazes me after all this eyears how we find NOS items in original boxes. Amazing

I agree, I love the gen 1 frames.
My first objective is to get a gen 1 black to complete my set of three original colours

I have spare white frame to trade with someone when the time comes

Gen 1 Crystal Black Frame with Plus Red Iridium ? V lens alongside Gen 1 Crystal Black Baseball frame with Black Irid ? V lens

Gen 2 Carbon Fibre Baseball frame with Gen 2 Strike Persimmon Strike lens

Gen 1 and 2 Black Rain frames with Sweep lens

The box that set this thread off -Mumbo with Blue Sweep , no doubt issued in Europe.

Sadly no serial number only this embossed on lid.

Cheers Dann , glad you liked them. Like you I like the old stuff up to 2007. I rotated the Mumbo box pic and can't get it back Doh ! The text underneath said probably the Europe issue because of the blue sweep sticker. I was trying to see the Made In USA writing but couldn't must check the box again to see !!!!
