I've seen a listing on fleabay for a limited edition (500) Oakley HQ Bunker ornament (the listing ended last night), but I haven't been able to find any more info about it. I found some pics in the gallery, and it's tagged 1997, is something old that I just found out about? Are the small HQ models that have been on eBay recasts from that ornament?

HQ was completed in 1997. The bunker ornament is one of this year's holiday releases and has been slowly trickling into O-Stores (where they are quickly snapped up by people like us).

Can't comment on the other models... haven't actually seen one of those in person.

Retail was $150, but due to the limited nature, I'm sure many grabbed them for a quick flip.

No, those ones are recasts of the top of a trophy. Those recasts look like shit. The Holiday Bunker ornament is made out metal and are very cool.

It all depends on the amount of hoarding of course (which has been unusually strong), but typically a run of 500 is enough to accommodate the current collector base.

I had the privledge of seeing one at my local Oakley store. Very nice, but cost so much. Would have loved to snag it, but was broke because it was Christmas time. :(

Found one Saturday 1/24 Lincoln Rd Miami for $150. I was looking around the store and saw it sitting on a lower shelf with the Money clips. I jumped on it. First real score.

I want one as well but i am not willing to pay that much for the bunker..hope someone from the group can pass on to a fellow if they have extra.. sadly none of those reaches the philippines and if they do, price is twice as the us retail :(
