Hey "Dudette" don't be jealous of things you don't have. There's a guy in Austin, Texas you should get a hold of. You might have something in common with him.

Probably doesn't compare to my collection of Madame Alexander dolls though.

Vinnie doesn't know what he's missing!

I am way into shoes

When new Jordans come out I race to the store to camp out just to get a pair, sometimes I get a few pairs, and like rare oakleys, I rarely wear them. Shoes are pretty big on ebay, I got into it a couple years ago when I wondered what happend to the old jordans that I use to have in like 6 grade, so I looked them up in ebay and my eyes got HUGE, they were going for hundreds of dollars for them, I was shocked and amazed that there were others that wanted old shoes too and I didn't even realize that there are LOTS and lots of people out there that collect shoes, way more so than oakleys, so I always have that going for me, and they are just as if not more sometimes as Oakleys

I collect (well, used to collect) knives and various other weapons. Don't so much anymore; the community I used to be a part of was too damn clique-ish for me. Basically, if you didn't have a massive collection you weren't nothin'. I no longer care to keep up with the Joneses, as it were.

That's not to say I don't still buy 'em occasionally, but I've definitely put more of my funds towards O purchases.

Glad to hear that you haven't let a passion die just because of some small-minded individuals.
I used to belong to a prop replica community and I kinda got that same "clique" feel there. Ended up dropping out because a lot of people were so self-righteous and could just be very brash towards newbies.
My passion for replica prop collecting still burns though. And I hope to soon add a few more items to my collection. =)

I've had so many collections throughout my life it is hard to remember them all. First baseball cards and garbage pail kids, then basketball cards, then star wars figures, then comics and Spawn figures. Now I'm strictly Oakley all the way--hopefully I will never stray from the Dark Side ;-)

Something I picked up a few weeks ago. Just searching ebay and stumbled across them. I would swear they were made to coincide with SM3, but all info I found says they were from 2005 and for Ultimate Spidey. Awesome to say the least, and I think Kaiyodo makes some of the best figures around.

The Green Goblin is actually the least interesting of them. There was a 5th, another Spidey with a magnetic web that I have hanging around at work. Same as the wall crawling one actually. Oh, did I mention they are under 3" each. So cool.

Wow they look cool Phil, so they are even smaller than the lead classic marvel figurines?

They are about the exact same size mate. Interesting to see the different take on the character. Have you gotten yourself a Silver Sufer from the new FF movie yet? I may have to send one over to you.

Sorry, the cmaera here at work has an odd focus.

Got this one too. It's from an MTV animated series they launched after one of the first two movies.

I am trying to stay out of it myself actually. Damn McFarlane and all his Spawn shite. Then freaking Gundam. But you always find that one occassional awesome figure to have. I have random artist series Batmans popping up throught the year and into 08 to get. And then the 25th Anny GI Joes. A lot fo the spider-man stuff is for the office. I am trying to get a dsiplay wall up for him with higher end figures.

Nice Phil, it would be cool to get some sort of display going yeah.

And to answer your question, yes, I bought the Silver Surfer Figurine a while back, and hes awesome as well.

(Thanks for the offer anyway mate)

I'll just go into my parents attic again and harvest all those figures propped up in the rafters. Need some display space. Maybe the bottom shelf of my glass cabinet.

Why not, the way you integrate other items amongst your glasses always looks cool in my eyes anyway.

That whole bottom shelf needs an overhaul anyway. Maybe I'll stop by tonight.
