I have no idea what you just talked about Brian with the components.

Care to explain?

There's Campagnolo on the MTB?

EDIT: I am an idiot. The seatpost etc. on the roadbike is Easton.

the mtb has the NEW xtr stuff, looks sick too. I dont know the problem with easton mixing with campy though, i love my record stuff and have ridden an EC90 bar for years and use look pedals (same corp. family as easton). heck my KORE seatpost is easton aluminum.

I just think it's a bit out of place. You've got the Italian bike maker (Bianchi), an Italian gruppo, and an Italian "sponsor." But the stem and seatpost are Easton?

Not that it's bad stuff, I've got Easton bars (on a Trek), but I think the Easton logos just looked odd on that uber-Italian bike. Bianchi Corse or Campy parts would've fit the theme a little better, IMO.

Awesome bikes!!! I love Ducati Red! That mountain bike is almost too pretty to get dirty.

Ducati makes great motorcycles, so their bicycles should follow in the tradition. I am suprised they did not make a full suspension mountain bike though.

The colonago for ferarri is nice but weighs a ton, had lots of flex and costs an arm and a leg incrusted with diamonds. i had the opportunity/misfortune of riding one of those and it is really just for show, not a race bike that you would think ferarri would take part in. The road version though is very very nice.

That's nothing!! Dutch car manufacturer Spyker has made a bicycle with KogaMiyata called the Aeroblade:

Only 50 are made, costing a fortune: 10.500 euroos (about 13.000 USD)

1 thing worries me about these bikes..the wheels wouldnt last under all that thrashing about on rough terrain.
and of course..the PRICE.!!

Well, looking at the tires it looks like that bike is one of those euopean "speed bikes" a road bike frame/wheels set up with a flat bar for comfort. They do sell well because of the increased comfort but they are not as efficient for obvious reasons as a regular road bike. Sexy wheels though, heck the whole thing is 13 G's of sexy.

And you crazy european's using . instead of , for the separation in thousands, I looked at 13.000 and being the closed minded american that i am (i hate it too) I just thought it was $13.00, not bad if it was about 3 inches long, lol.

I would not say that about the sunglasses they brought out in the early 80s, they were cheap and nasty..
anyway i dont like ferraris, they suck, they are ugly and have lost that horny looking feeling.even though they never had it,
unlike Lamborghinis, i would rather have any Lambo than a ferrari any day or even better give me the old style vw beetles than a DULL boring, put me to sleep ferrari.
sorry its just dont wash with me...ferraris are the ni*e of sports cars and Lambos are my oakley.
sorry its the way i was made..

the rims on the ducati mountain bike are pretty standard Mavic wheels. should hold up well. and yes, the spyker bike is a road bike. can't do much on a mountain with fenders, they clog with mud.

I take it you don't like Ferrari. That's cool.

Tell me, have you ever owned a Ferrari or driven one? I've had the pleasure of owning a Ferrari and have also driven a Lambo (Diablo VT) and I can say both are amazing marques but the Ferrari did it for me whereas the Diablo was heavy and cumbersome and utterly impractical.

A bike can be a Ferrari whereas a pair of sunglasses or a bottle of aftershave will never be despite the licencing of the badge.

Colnago and Enzo Ferrari were old friends (there is a picture of them together arm in arm in the Ferrari boardroom) and the relationship between the two companies runs a lot deeper than just licencing the brand name.

I'm saving up for an Enzo. Any donations gratefully accepted.

what's the second-hand market like for Enzos? i know you had to be a "favored customer" to get one in the first place. does that mean you have to get sales approved?

You can get one on the second hand market without any problems. To buy one new you have to be pre-approved. Last time I heard there were about three available out of a dealer in Long Beach. One of their stock was used in the last Charlie's Angels movie and another unregistered one was used as the basis for the Glickenhaus 612 P4/5. Currently their are two kicking about on the UK second hand market.

@ jamestcheung..sir i wish, cant afford either on my pay packet, but i did have a birthday treat a few years ago where i could drive any car of my choosing, and i did have a go in the Enzo and a Murcielago.
and both are Totally amazing..but it was a short lived moment in both as i was enjoying myself tooo much in the Nissian Skyline GTR.
And you are a lucky man for owning such a car, i wont argue with what you drive, is a good car,but i still love my Lambos and thats why we are all made different.as it would be very boring if we all like the same make of car..
So each to the own i suppose.!!
and nice wheels you do have.!
what colour enzo you going for...please say Bright YELLOW..the only reason i say that..!!
You dont see many of them that colour these days.!!
