It's a common problem, and there's no fix, they have to be sent back to warranty.

they tend to do that the more u stretch ur frames out. I guess just be really careful when u put them on :-)

Do they take it apart and change the 2 rubber pieces in the nosebridge? I mean do they replace the rivets and all that?

If you send out one with a serial number.. will you get the same back?

Yes they do. Just ask for the color you want for the rubbers and they will take care of it. If your going to fork out the money for just a tuneup, $49, then you might as will get a new lens too. It will cost you $50 to $80 depending on the lens and the tuneup and rubbers are free anyway. You get more for your buck this way.

Great idea George! I did not know they could do that. I sent in one of my X-metal frames to be tuned up for $49.00 and I did not know I could change the color of the rubbers. Now I know for next time.

On the last 2 Juliets I bought from my OPD the nosebridges were very loose from the start. I kind of like it, gives the frame more flexibility. On the previous Juliets I bought from the same OPD the nosebridges can hardly be moved at all.
I guess is one of those typical Oakley inconsistencies but I'm interessted to hear which type all you guys prefer.

My very first pair of Juliets eventually had their nosebridge loosened up quite a bit after 5 years of using them with the size 25 temple shocks. I took them in to my local Oakley optometrist and had them send it back in for a tune up. Came back practically the same, still loose. Went back in again, came back a second time a wee bit better, and was told it was the best they could do. If you want it to be tight enough to not move at all, then don't expect the tune up to solve that problem...you'd just need to buy a brand new pair. Since then, with all new Juliets I've bought, I've stuck to using the size 15 temple shocks, so that the frame doesn't have to stretch as much around my head. And that's really what you have to do if you want to preserve the frame's tightness.

my preference on this is I want mine to be tight and not loose. I like having that brand new and far from getting screwed up feel. I do have 1 beater pair thats kinda wobbly :-(

Same to me, I would prefer tight. I sent my polished juliet twice for tighten their nose bridge.

Really cant stand if the frame so shaking.

So it would seem you all prefer the nosebridge to be tight. Mine were loose straight from the factory. Has anybody had a pair like that? And what did you do about it?

I guess u cant do much about it when u buy online but when u go to a store to pick up a pair, then just simply check the nose bridge :-)
