Hey guys, I just wanted to say good luck to all college o-reviewers on moving their collections.
I have my collection all packed into their bags and into their boxes, and then I have them together in shoe boxes, which are then inside a big plastic tupperware-like container.
i just moved in to a new house last wednesday and all i have to say is wpphh! i did the same as you jones and i dont have any of it set up yet but it all servived. the movers did break a few wine glasses and a to to a glass table but who cares the glasses are ok and that is the main thing. (just so you know my wife does not feel the same way LOL HAHAHA)
Ha, I am moving this weekend. I've had them packed for over a week and more carefully than anything else that I have. Gonna be a bitch moving my tower though seeing it's glass.
yah good luck. the thing that i hate now is that i travel alot and i still have then in a box that is in there boxes that are in the socks and going through them to find what i want is a hassel instead of just grabing what i want. i hope to get things set up this weekend but time will tell.
Myself and Madscientist are moving in together so it'll be interesting that much O-Juice in one apartment. It's gonna be crazy with our collections and both working at a store.
I seriously dread the day when I have to move my collection. I thought getting 23 pairs to Japan was hard enough, but now with 118, I have no idea what I'm going to do! Luckily, I have at least one year to come up with a solution.
I'll have to move in one month and a half. When I came on May in my apartement, I had 7 glasses. Now, I have 9 hahaha ^_^ ... and a double Wide '_' ARGH !

Don't worry, Rick, you can just send them to me. I'll take good care of them.
I'm in the process of moving the entire collection from the upper floors to the basement. What a pain. Certainly makes you think twice about buying more stuff. It also gives you greater appreciation for quality over quantity. Mine is just an inter-house move. I don't envy anyone with a larger collection having to make a out-of-city move.
I'm in the process of moving my collection to Oakley in Cincinnati...I'm dreading it. I shrunk my collection by about 30 in hopes of quality over quantity and now I have an extra cube and countertop display that I just cant justify moving with the rest of my house.
It also makes the move that much more scary that they'll break!
