Is it just me, or are sizes on eBay for Oakley stuff normally very odd? I'm talking about shoes and shirt size...
I wear a US11 size shoe and like to wear medium jackets and shirts. Either only the odd sizes end up on eBay or most people have like size 6-9 feet and wear L or XL shirts. Just complaining here. I hope I can find some Oakley shoes or boots on the cheap somehow.

What you find is the reason the size 6-8 and 13-14 shoe sizes are the ones retail can't sell due to size 9 - 11 are the most popular sizing and end up trying to flogg the rest of them on EBAY.
Same goes for clothing the most popular size is small and Medium so you will only see XS or L XL or XXL on Ebay

It's probably the same stuff you can find at outlets, purchased and then resold on eBay. Try finding your own size at an outlet. Damn near impossible. Only the stuff they can't unload end up there.

^^i think your exactly right, people are buying up on the oakleyvault.com and just reselling at a profit. i see the same items, even the same pictures used

I think you guys are right. It's just the way outlets work. Stuff they can't sell seems to trickle down to the outlets (but the fun part is when you find something really good!).
I don't think Oakley minds people buying up their stuff and resaling it slightly higher. It takes the merch off their stock so they can move more. The new middle men just have to hold on to it longer to make money.
As far as I'm concerned, I don't like it because I want the lowest price without the markup.

They do mind, if you have ever purchased anything from a Vault you will notice the receipt says not for resale. If you are purchasing a large amount from a vault you are supposed to fill out a form that is basically a contract saying it is not for resale. They go after the people doing high volumes of it, especially in eyewear, however the clothing and shoes here and there dont get as much attention.

Its my understanding that the reselling is why it took so long to have an oakleyvault.com, and is one of the reason that you don't see a lot of eyewear on there. I think part of the the thought behind oakleyvault.com was also to make the outlet stuff more available, and therefor make the stuff marked up on ebay less appealing.

Oakley sizing is all over the place also with Regular Fit, Golf Fit, Slim Fit, Cargo Fit, Loose Fit. Most of the time you should ask the seller. A Golf Fit XL is as big as a circus tent, but a Slim Fit XL sometimes feels like what would be a mens' normal medium. And shoe sizing varies from model to model as well. I wear 4 different sizes from 9.5 in SI Assault to 11 in flip flops.

Btw, they also have baggy fit, and I think mountain fit.
