I personally really like the Re:Subs. I have two pairs and I don’t double up on a frame often.

I think the Ellipse price is scaring and ticking a lot of people off. Most people would buy the Ellipse without blinking an eye if they actually really retailed for $200/$250. You can say I’m wrong - but in my experience Oakley fans are like Nike fans. They complain and rip on new pairs and eventually a good number of them do a 180 and end up buying them.

So I had heard they were out so I called the woodfield mall premium store. They had them so I stopped down.

They had them in the back and told me they had them in the back becasue, something along the lines of, "they weren't going to sell so they didn't want to waste the display space."

One of the sales guys, who I've talked to before, said they collectors like me are the only people who will buy this stuff...lol - MicahS

WHAT?!?!! Really? That seems like a good way to lose your job. They don’t know that they won’t sell as a fact. Maybe they do know better than me because they have OAKLEY retail experience. But they don’t know no one will buy them but collectors. If you’re not going to put them out then send them back. But they’re not sending them back because they might be concerned they’ll be asked why and they don’t want to say they think they’re horrible and won’t sell.

Sorry but that kinda ticks me off. Ha Ha.

So, last year, I decided I would finally get a motorcycle licence, which I did.
First bike I bought was a 2019 Honda CB650R Perfect bike to learn how to ride.



But I knew I wanted to upgrade quickly, so I just bought the 2021 Honda CB1000R full black edition.



The 650 was already amazing, at all levels.
But the 1000 is just another game. It's wonderful.

145hp, very natural handling/balance, great feel.
I couldn't be happier with that upgrade.

So... I changed again.

It's just a different world.
Switching from a very agile naked bike to a heavy power cruiser of 2.5L engine. The power and torque is ridiculous, in a very pleasing way.
Laughing in my helmet at every full throttle acceleration.
That thing is not very fit for the very cornery roads of the alpine passes, but it's amazing nonetheless.
