Hey Banderso, welcome to the O-Review! In reference to your issue about the FMJ frame that you scratched slightly, there isn't much you can do take those scratches out from what I know. The FMJ has always been a very "sensitive" material in the sense that it scratches easy and flakes even easier.

I have however heard of places out there that will indeed dip or refinish a frame for you. I am not sure of getting the exact FMJ look that you have, but I have seen a lot of work from Dr. Chop and he does some pretty amazing things, including the FMJ look. If I were you I would try to reach out to him possibly and see if there is anything he may be able to help with.

Radar EV is a color refresh mostly. I dont recall any new M2 stuff though...

You're right on that. They've got barrel hinges, similar to the Hollowpoint Ophthalmic frame hinge but more modernized apparently.

We talked about a great many things, Elite, New watch that is sick (we saw a pic) and something entirety new that is the combination of things both old and new that is the evolution of the X-Metal's

If what we were told is true we should start to see some more of the real Oakley stuff we have come to love instead of well you know...

When I was out there a few weeks ago now, Colin happened to show me all the newest greatest ideas about the new material mixture and where he wants to go with the x-metal. I word for word said to him, "Thank you for bringing back Oakley to Oakley. You gave me a new found respect for the brand and I hope that these come to life soon to bring back that widely loved history of Oakley"

I can not wait for them to come. Can't happen soon enough.

Been using the site forever, but was always told that it was invite only. I am glad to finally be able to use the site now. The new layout looks great Dann. I'm just an Oakley nerd from NJ that loves the product and works in a private shop that sells the hell out of Oakley. Glad to be a part of another big Oakley community.
