White and Gold - # 26-321

@ defiant00 - Where in Florida? If central, the O-Stores have them.

So to correct MYSELF, sorry Dann and everyone, I called several stores in my area and it seems there was a directive for O-Stores to have the Grips as an exclusive. My apologies for the misinformation! It seems the Vaults were misinformed in a few districts as well! Sorry guys!

Have you had your holiday meeting yet? They should be going over a newsletter about it.

You should be getting them in soon, Lyndsey.

He isn't on Lux's board. His focus is on RED. While Lux has an influence on some of the products' distribution, outsourcing, and manufacturing, Oakley has attested, several times in correspondence internally and with customers, that they govern themselves.

Colin Baden, current CEO of Oakley, more than likely attends Lux's board meetings.

On your wrist, though, from across the store...hell yes. $825 retail, same price MSRP as the Chrome Gearboxes.

Same tech as all of your other Gearboxes: 5-jewel movement Swiss, Stainless steel impact forged housing, Unobtainium wristband, the buckle is the same matte gold finish as the outer housing, the bezel is a polished gold finish with matching hands, Luminova glow. There is a white version with a white face also out, but this recently graced my local store. Didn't catch the SKU.

Let me correct Dann in saying that SELECT stores are getting them. O Stores are getting them in very limited quantity, but some vaults are too; I'm assuming the giveaway has to do with the amount of volume one store does.

I'm not going to confirm any quantities, but if you live by a Vault that you can assume does well in your region, it's safe to say they may have some grips. It doesn't hurt to check it out, and let's be honest, with sales all over your face in that store on Black Friday, you'd better be there anyway, fans.

And if you go right after your Thanksgiving dinner stay until midnight if your local Oakley store is open that late.

I will say no more.

The ELITE standards of customer service supplement the need for such an ID dog tag, but sometimes, SOMETIMES, there's always that oblivious customer, and it happens, so no one take offense when I finish this statement, who doesn't know where the junk they are.

It happens, and Oakley has taken the badass looking, solid metal, frakkin' huge step to make employees dog tags.

Also haven't seen anyone post on this. The Oakley Throttle Case, $60, for the iPhone 5/5s.

Get there early, and you even get free water! Oakley Artesian water is bottled from the Uinta Mountains in Utah. Oakley Artesian, not affiliated with Oakley Eyewear, was a happy coincidence of a choice for this year's Black Friday Beverage!

Also, Oakley retail employees are getting new dogtags. There hasn't been any OFFICIAL way of showing that an Oakley retail employee does, in fact, actually works there (ever walk into an Oakley store, as a fan, and happen to be wearing a sweater or a shirt and someone comes up to you and asks if you work there?). Lanyards were a good way of this, but there wasn't anything you could put on the end of them. Maybe a carbiner. Still not good enough. Well now they have this. Here's the deal with them:

1. Only Oakley employees can get them. Anyone else, sorry. Can't get them.
2. Each dogtag has a unique serial number and each store is issued only so many.
3. Employees aren't allowed to walk out of the store with them.
4. They aren't for sale. Ever.
5. They're huge and heavy as hell.

Now, as a customer, you can easily find the employees.

Ten points to the guy who can name the origin of the design on the front.

The grips are a limited release. Smaller stores are only getting a few, so the first few customers on Black Friday to purchase $150 or more get the grips. It's the associate's discretion as to what color you get. One set of grips per transaction.
