My understanding is the Mod 5 will have different modules that can be added to it such as Bluetooth in the future. The Mod 3 will not have the adaptable module concept.

I have received the glasses and goggles, neither come with a case. They only come with a microfiber bag unless you purchase one of the operator kits. You can either buy the hard cases separate or buy the "operator kit w/ strong box" or the "operator kit w/ square case array. This is the only way to get a case for your Alpha series equipment. I also don't see where they offer the square case array for separate purchase just the strong boxes. Guess if you want the Alpha patch you have to buy the operator kit w/ square case array.
