Awesome spotlight, info and collection. Great getting to know you better.

With all of the "pieces" you get with these I'm warming up to the cost. Does anyone know what kinda case it comes with or does it even come with one? It doesn't show or mention one from what I saw. You would think it would come with something to carry all of this in:

• INTERCHANGEABLE STEMS
• REMOVABLE WINTERIZED GASKET
• INTERCHANGEABLE WOVEN STRAP
• 3 UNOBTAINIUM NOSEPADS

Plus of course the lens and frame. Gotta keep all of that together somewhere.

I love the modular stuff. So I'm in on this - but will wait because of the $$$ right now and I hope they release other color-ways. Although with a model like this I don't see them going crazy with different color variations.

Not sure if these are new releases but - I didn't know Urban Outfitters had Oakley Exclusives.

Sorry as well Luis. It does seem a bit deceiving even if it was innocent. I agree it cheapens the brand.

I think customer service and even attention to detail seems to have fallen off a lot with companies these days. Lack of quality control and being "good enough" or just doing what's necessary seems to plague the world. I've had issues with my Subs from the last release. The nosebridge had marks on it more than what may have been deemed normal from the "production process." Customer Service was great though and they sent a new one out but the second still had nosebridge marks - a lot less but more than there should be in my opinion. So this time I just kept them and didn't say anything. Maybe I should've said something to Oakley about the second pair - but I have a feeling it was a common issue this time around for the Prizm Snow Torch color-way. They're still available on oakley.com so maybe I will try to return these too.

Ok, so what are your thoughts?
As many of you probably are, I’m signed up for Oakley’s MVP program and receive their emails with exclusive MVP eyewear from time to time. While some color ways are pretty cool, I tend to skip them or miss out on them due to procrastination. I recently received an MVP email stating that Oakley was coming out with their first ever non eyewear MVP item in an exclusive and limited backpack. I’ve attached some pictures from the email and some from my actual bag. Was I really lucky enough to get bag # 1/1000?

They are all 01/1000... Also the 2023 date seems a bit odd since its 2024. With literally nothing on this thing stating MVP, this will be the last non-eyewear piece I buy from the collection. - MicahS

Not to be a downer. Which I apologize for because I think I've been kinda negative or angstful recently which is I feel in contrast to my previous "say nothing bad about 'my brands.'" But this almost seems like a let's get some samples made - 1,000 might be a lot for samples - or someone ordered these by mistake and then it was "what can we do with them?" kinda thing. Because as Micah said there's nothing "MVP" about it. The only unique thing is the exclusive camo pattern and the label stating "LIMITED EDITION 01/1000." Which is disappointing that all of them are 01. Don't get me wrong it's a cool pack and sometimes I think when things actually say MVP on them it seems cheesy but the 2023 and 01 have me thinking the thought put into this was lackluster and an after thought.

Sorry, you can block me now. Ha Ha!

Finally, managed to get a BNIB quality pair after years of misses and bad timing.

I can't believe he is selling it. I guess he's moving on and since he sold RED I would bet he doesn't plan on even living much in the continental U.S. moving forward if at all. If he does he's got islands and I think he was living in Vietnam. So he doesn't need it or I guess even want it. Seems like a shame to me. Perhaps he used to write it off as a business expense? I remember reading an article about that house and it said something to the affect that he would use it to entertain guests, I think have meetings and it was a place him and his wife stayed when they were in town. He doesn't own Oakley or RED anymore which probably means no business to use it for which also means no write off.

Some of these cuts they doing for athletes they need to bring to the custom shop. I think that would bring a lot of people to the sphaera.

I'm hoping to see this one in the theater but not sure I will. Haven't seen many movies in the theater in recent years. Some like Twisters I think probably should be seen in theater - but I still don't go much. Ha Ha.
