I've got a jacket and a fleece from way back when Oakley started seriously getting into the technical outer wear market.
Sadly neither have any model name on the labels inside (the original tags were binned years ago). I'd like to know what they were called so I can add them to my collection on here.
Firstly the fleece - It's a pullover, black with a 1/4 zip, just below the zip there's an embroided icon. The shoulders and chest have kinda a windproof material, 2 pockets at the front



The coat is fairly long, hangs just below my arse, it is waterproof, has a draw cord waist and around the neck, 2 pockets on the hips and 2 chest pockets - This I purchased from the O rep who covered the store where I worked at the time.





Anyone else have any clothing from this era? I wish I could have bought more at the time as imo this was the best line of clothing (style wise) that Oakley have done (also imo the best era for Oakley full stop)

Oh I've just remembered, I have a lighter weight fleece than the one above somewhere, full zip with zip off arms. This was released a year after the two pieces above.

Now, where is it?

I have a vest and two jackets from that era. I still wear the shorter jacket all of the time. It's a dark gray. The other is a long black coat that I've only worn a few times. I need to take some pics and get them up. I have pics of other gear from that era from when they were online as well. I'll see if I can get them up here.

Ok... so that was a funny moment! I was looking at the couple pictures of your jacket thinking to myself, "hmmm, that looks kinda familiar', and then looked over my shoulder at the same jacket hanging from my office cubicle wall! I bought the same jacket off ebay a few years back. I wear it every day! It had tags when it arrived, but unfortunately, they're long gone. From what I remember, "Shell Jacket" sounds familiar.

I still need to get around to looking for the images but I did fine a few tags. The one for the long black jacket says "Ballistic Jacket." The other jacket that I wear all of the time I believe was called "Flak Jacket." Not 100% sure though. I have a red jacket that came out about a year or so after these and it's called "Flak Jacket" as well. Let me do some looking around and see what I still have.
