What makes die-cast aluminum on eyewear so expensive? Not the regular aluminum but the die-cast one. Badman/Madman and Latch Alpha has die-cast aluminum, and they are perplexingly expensive for what they are.

I recently picked up a RX Lens Tower Display. It came with all the lenses but I was wondering what type of literature was usually in the holder on the one side of it? It seems like a really small size. I'm thinking about either tying to find something authentic off the bay or just taking a high rez image and printing something just to fill it.

On original (Pro) Racing Jacket, is the FMJ Dark Chrome brighter than the Black Chrome ?

A few years back, I found a Racing Jacket frame (without lenses) and thought it was a black chrome.
Last week I found another chrome-ish frame but it's not the same aspect at all.
It's way darker.

I had never realized that there are two different chrome finish for the racing jackets.

Black Chrome is the one on the Scar and Black Iridium Splice. It has a slightly purple finish. Dark Chrome is flatter, like the Matt Kennseth Splice.

I think I have a custom Splice based on the Black Iridium frame. I'll check the RJs against that :)
