Gripping motocross handles, and motorsport tires are what come to mind.

"Flag" cam?! Why call it "flag?" - yelkao
I'm guessing that's the industry standard name for that type of hinge and LUX changed the terminology so it was easier for Reps to explain to accounts (and for reps of multiple LUX brands to remember) - Defenderoftheo
But why even use the term "flag?" What's "flag"about the hinge design? - yelkao
A flag hinge often looks like a flag swivelling on a pole, with the leaves roughly in line with the pin. Often the leaves are 'stacked' on top of each other on the pin instead of closing on each other like a book. This means they can rotate a full 360 degrees in relation to each other (like a flag can point in any direction around a pole). Whether Oakley flag cam/hinges work like this or not, that's probably where the name comes from.

the Devel Sixteen was introduced and claims 5,000 horsepower on 16 cylinders
So basically as soon as you tap the gas you shear off every single wheel bolt. Crazy.

Nice stuff everyone.
Dann - those Frogskins were definitely under-appreciated at the time.

Kevlar is highly UV-sensitive, so it wouldn't surprise me if that's what caused a colour change. I've had it happen to other synthetics. If the weave appears two different colours, it's possible the fibers could have had different levels of exposure prior to manufacture, and then some sunshine finished the job.

So it's basically the Flat Top from Super.

Super nice Francois; that has the new Shimano CX cranks, right? I hear they are very good, especially for the price.

Granted the less there is, technically the more rare it is, but once you start getting down so low that there's no chance anyone can get one, it sort of loses its meaning.
Spot on with everything Dann.
It's like asking "What's rarer? The Mona Lisa or The Scream?" Once you talk about one-offs or limited, employee/owner pairs rarity becomes meaningless and it's more about value/desirability, like Oak said.

I'm selling my Zero collection so I can afford all of those.
You could definitely afford all of them then (as in 'every single one which rolled out of the factory').

No colored/iridium lenses for the Wind Jacket? Just "Warm Grey" and "Clear"?
That's right.
Like Jamey said, there's replacement lenses available. It's also a niche product, so they don't want a lens colour which will cut out anyone from that niche, I imagine. I don't ride a motorcycle, but I also figure that riding at 100km/h+ can be pretty hard on lenses, so why go with an Iridium finish which can scratch more easily than bare Plutonite? Finally, I would bet their target market has somewhat specific tastes and three neon colours (or whatever) on the one pair of glasses doesn't really appeal to them.

I couldn't find this one in the catalogue:
Radar Path
Glow In The Dark
Slate Iridium
Asian fit? SKU? Don't know. See

At that price a buyer probably won't be too worried about the shipping fees.

@Racer96 I really like that Holbrook, hadn't seen those before. Very nice.

If he's actually climbing mountains it wouldn't surprise me that he'd wear Asolo; an all-around boot like the SI simply wouldn't be the appropriate gear depending on the application.

You'd also get situations like the Jawbone and Split Jacket being the same price in the US but different prices in Canada, if they pegged each MSRP at release to contemporary exchange rates. Or you'd have all prices fluctuating with the exchange rate like Defender said, also a practical nightmare.

If you're interested in getting an iPad and have a Kevlar Organizer (the regular kind, not the 8.5"x11" rep case) then it looks like it will be a perfect fit, or maybe just a little snug. I measured the interior of the case and compared to the specs on Apple's website.

I hope you picked it up, turned it upside down, and gave it a shake. You know, for the full effect.

More frame colours are up for custom Jawbone. The other sport models now also have the option for a second lens as well (Pro M Frame, M Frame, Flak Jacket, Radar). The second lens costs the same as buying it separately.

That's great, thanks Eric. Sounds like we could have ended up wearing Shady Eyewear.

If you think the price of Oakley goods is (or should be) a strict function of the materials involved, I'm not sure what to say.
It seems that for most everything that I went out of my way to find or that I paid top dollar for, Joe Schmoe who waited for 6 months was able to find it for half the price. The irony is that all the stuff that really didn't sell that well, ie Medusas, Flight Deck Helmets, OTTs, and the like that people are fighting for, they won't re-release. Everyone and their mom has a pair of Collector's Frogskins. If that's the case, how are they worth collecting? The truly unique ones, ie Supremes, DQMs, 3Ds, Knight Riders, Petersons, are all exorbitantly priced.
So you want re-releases of things that didn't sell, at a low price, that everyone now wants, but you still don't want 'everyone and their mom' to end up with them?
EDIT: I mean, I can understand the sentiment, but I'm not sure exactly what you want Oakley to do differently.
