 Thanks for posting this, Dann!

I was actually able to fly back through Oakland by catching an earlier flight from where i was.

I was able to talk to the store manager and was about to buy a couple pairs, but didn't because they weren't a complete set. Here's what i found out:

Two pairs were Polished Black/Black Iridium Polarized. Only one had a box with coin, but was missing the nylon case. Discounted to $280.

Two pairs were Carbon Black/Black Iridium. Both were glasses only. Discounted to $250.

I asked for an additional discount and he only gave me 10%, which in my mind didn't make up for the missing items.

If anyone still wants them, they all looked to be in decent condition. I didn't really inspect them too closely.

Here's a pic:

Ah, I have a great appreciation for the aesthetics of the e/t and square wires. The whole look of the e wire when worn is just killer. The clean lines of the orbitals and earstems - just some understated level of perfection. Never had a t wire, so might need to mentally prepare to drop the cash and get the grips these holidays! - oogie

T-Wire is just like the E-Wire, but extremely light. Can't even feel them on your face. I bought my original pair back in 2000. I happened to find a pair at a Vault and when i tried them on, was in love.

Might need to pick up a 2nd pair. I hardly ever wore my T-Wires in fear of ruining the white rubbers and not being able to replace them. Going to have to pick up a pair of Light/Black Iridium E-Wires to replace my retired pair :)

I just picked up two pairs of XS Fives for REALLY cheap ($10 each). They're kinda beat up and the lenses have some scuffs. I want to replace/cut new lenses as i don't want to screw up my son's vision and want to get him started off right with collecting and taking care of his glasses.

I know the base curve is 8.75. Just wondering how one determines which "donor lens" to use? And if you can list what lenses I can use, that'd be great too!

First pair is the Black/Blue Iridium
Second pair is the Berry/Grey

It's not required that i use the same colored lenses. If anything i'd like to use a Emerald or Jade in the Black frame and a Fire or +Red in the Berry frame.
