Just checked the sku against the serial number on the frames and they are 04 150 55 21. This makes them plasma frame and emerald lenses, silly blind as a bat me!

Just got a new pair of Juliets with jade lenses, polished frame. Got them from vision express Oxford street London for £180! They also have a black frame pair of X Squared up for £340, or £365, I cannot remember which. They just ship old and retired stock from othr stores to their flagship. I am trying to paste a pic but my iPad will not allow me to.

I am flying into Miami international in 18 days time as a stop over before i get to Costa Rica and I notice they have a few sunglasses shops. Does anyone know what they are like and if they carry Oakley. Also, is there any chance of them having retired pieces? I am specifically looking for Ducati Scapels or any X metal. Thanks guys

Got a free t-shirt from the O store in Covent Garden yesterday; my picture posing by the fountain in Trafalgar Square. Part of the O photo lab thing because of the TDF in the UK these next few days. Big standard cheapo white T, but, hey, it does have the O on it! Oakley also had a big stand in the Square with a custom area and regular shades.

I second what Tim says. The London store did used to be great, with really a great range. Now though, a poor shadow of former glory. Having said that, I would love the angel sculpture from above the tills!

Those Monster Dogs look amazing. Why do Oakley not hire you to design a custom range????

My new Valves arrived yesterday! They are like Scapels, but not as aggressive or bad ass, rather a more muted style. They are nice with the red lenses though. They also do not have made in USA on them either; China fabrication now I guess. I am trying to upload a pic, but it will not work from an iPad, unless anyone knows how please.

So, it is my birthday in two weeks and, once again, Oakley have sent me a £20 voucher to use in an O store. Seriously, other companies send a £2:50 voucher after you have spent hundreds of pounds, but the Icon programme actually rewards customers properly. Oakley, not just the greatest eyewear in the known universe, but the best loyalty programme too!

That would be my hope too, Dann. X squared is one fine model.

Just checked out the UK Oakley website and the defining O frame is back! The site has a carbon Juliet with black lenses on there and they appear in stock as they are shipping the next day too. The only kicker is the £300 price tag. However, I did pay £250 for my X metal with ruby lens ones back in 1999 so it is maybe not too bad.

I had flesh shoes back in 2003. To this day they were the most comfortable shoes I have ever had and their sole was awesome. If only the big O would reissue those!!

Hi Micha,
You should check out eBay and type in gascan SI. There is a uk company who sell the SI Gascans with a sand frame, bronze lenses and the icon is the US flag. They also come with the SI ELITE cloth bag. I got a pair and the prices are good. The company is called Polimill. Check out their website as they may be cheaper on there than EBay.

Hi Aaron, I bought a pair of these from the Oakley store in London's Covent Garden after seeing how bad ass they looked in the film. I have just looked at the film again and the ones Denzal wears do not have the wrapping around the arms. The ones in the film are the polarised lenses with silver frames. Hope this helps.
